A COUPLE have appeared in courtroom accused of murdering their two-year-old grandson after he was discovered with head injuries at their residence.
Ethan Ives Griffiths was rushed to hospital after the horror in Deeside, North Wales, but sadly died from a mind damage.
His grandparents Michael Ives, 46, and Kerry Ives, 45, appeared at Mould Crown Court charged with homicide.
Ethan's mum Shannon Kayleigh Ives, 27, has been charged with inflicting or permitting a toddler to endure critical physical hurt.
She can also be accused of causing assault, ill-treatment, neglect or abandonment of a child to cause unnecessary struggling or damage.
Michael and Kerry Ives have been remanded into custody to next appear in courtroom on Might 17 alongside their daughter.

The horror unfolded on August 14, 2021, after little Ethan was found injured at the house on Kingsley Street.
