Lakers star LeBron James completed the game with 20 factors, nine rebounds, and eight assists in 39 minutes on-court.
On Wednesday's episode of First Take, Smith provided a bleak outlook for coach Darvin Ham's Lakers.
"In the long run, the Lakers are fairly pathetic proper now," the 56-year-old stated.
"You're ten video games beneath .500 on the street. LeBron James is the star of a staff, ten games underneath .500 away from Southern California.
"That's only a shame. And I'm not blaming him. 39 years of age, 21st season within the league, averaging almost 25 a recreation, enjoying his behind off, and as soon as once more is an All-Star."
Regardless of James' play, Smith believes much of the rest of the group is just unprepared.
"LeBron is so committed to his craft, taking good care of his body, taking good care of his thoughts, LeBron stays prepared while 90-percent of the league will get ready," he stated.

As for LeBron, he remained defiant postgame in his perception that each one isn't misplaced for the Lakers.
"We might on any given night time beat any workforce in the NBA," he told reporters.
"After which on any given night time, we might get our a** kicked by any staff in the NBA."
Next up for the 24-25 Lakers is a trip to the Boston Celtics on Thursday before they make their option to the Charlotte Hornets on Monday.
