A BOXING champion raped a younger mum in her rest room as her youngsters slept simply ft away, a courtroom has heard.
Commonwealth gold medalist Scott Fitzgerald, 32, is claimed to have attacked the woman following an evening of consuming in April 2020.
The previous British title-holder is accused of exposing himself to her within the kitchen earlier than following her to the toilet.
Jurors at Preston Crown Court heard the boxer then pushed her over the sink and the bathtub and raped her.
Richard Haworth, prosecuting, informed the courtroom: "She was begging him to stop.
"She was definitely upset – she felt scared."
The jury heard that, after she managed to push him off, Fitzgerald stated: "Oh my God, I'm so sorry."
It is alleged he then adopted her downstairs and continued to apologise for what he had carried out.
Before he left the house, he allegedly warned her if she stated anything about what had occurred "no-one would consider her as a result of it was her word towards his".
The alleged sufferer broke down as she advised jurors she's still haunted 4 years on.
Giving proof from behind a display, she informed the courtroom: "It's been four years.& All I can keep in mind is what happened in that loo as a result of it's going to never depart my head."
The alleged incident is claimed to have taken place between 6.30am and 7am in April 2020.&
Fitzgerald was one in every of 4 males consuming on the house, whereas the alleged sufferer's youngsters slept upstairs.&
The courtroom heard two males ultimately left, and Fitzgerald gave the opposite man £40 to go out and buy cocaine.
Mr Haworth, prosecuting, added: "It was during that time period that the Crown says the defendant raped her, when the two of them have been the only adults in the house."
In a video interview with police, the lady stated she was in the kitchen with Fitzgerald when he began speaking about sex and asking her for sex.&
He uncovered himself and advised her to touch him, which she refused, the jury heard.&
In an try and take away herself from the state of affairs she stated she went upstairs to use the toilet and was only partway via when Fitzgerald adopted her and went into the toilet.
She claims to have rapidly tried to tug up her tights, but he pressured her over the washbasin and then the bathtub to rape her.
After being arrested, Fitzgerald advised police the lady had consented to sex and claimed she'd been the one who had "made all the operating".
Fitzgerald denies wrongdoing.
