Georgia Hunter Bell has called for more action to stop the body shaming of female athletes after becoming the latest British star to open up on the abuse she has suffered online. Distance runner Eilish McColgan this week highlighted some of the sick comments she has received on Instagram, with trolls attacking her slim physique and accusing her of having an eating disorder. Now Hunter Bell has revealed she has also been sent messages criticising the way she looks since she thrust herself into the spotlight by winning an Olympic 1500 metres bronze medal last summer.
