Bizarre moment dart lands in player's FOOT after bouncing back from the board in 'never before seen' incident at UK Open Darts
Martin Schindler had a bizarre incident during his last-16 match against Jonny Clayton at the 2025 UK Open Darts, when a dart bounced off the board and landed in his foot. The German failed to book his spot in the quarter-finals after losing 10-4 to Clayton, who logged an impressive 98.04 three-dart average and 42 per cent on his checkouts. Schindler trailed the match 6-4 at one point, but his Welsh opponent turned it up a gear to win four straight legs and end on a high finish of 101.
